The Makandulo candle is handcrafted, and the glass jars in which we’ve sealed the wonderful natural scent directly from nature are topped with beautiful hand-made eco-friendly decorations. The plant wax that fills our designer jars is sourced from high-quality oil pressed from the fruits of the oil palm (Elaeis guineensis), as well as from wax from herbs and fruits obtained in our laboratory by supercritical extraction. The Makandulo sage candle owes its beautiful scent to carefully selected 100% natural sage extract produced in our laboratory using supercritical carbon dioxide extraction in a closed circuit from sage (Salvia officinalis L.), so you can be certain that the candle:

How to Properly Burn Makandulo Candles?
- The candle should be burned for a minimum of 3 hours
- The candle should not be extinguished before the wax is melted
- A candle that is extinguished too quickly will create a narrow tunnel in the wax, resulting in poor burning performance
- Do not burn the candle in a drafty area to ensure even burning of the candle
- Place the candle out of reach of children
- Stop burning the candle when the wax is about 0.5 cm high. This is the time to purchase a new Makandulo candle
