Eco-Friendly Makandulo Candles – A Project Supported by European Funds

Progress Piotr Przybysz is implementing a project titled “Preliminary separation of wax fractions in the process of supercritical herb extraction to improve the efficiency and selectivity of extracts for the production of aromatherapy and massage candles”. This project is co-financed under the First Priority of the European Funds for a Smart Economy 2021–2027 (EFSE) program.

The project aims to develop an innovative technology enabling the eco-friendly preliminary removal of waxes from herbal extracts. This advancement will make the production process for aromatherapy and massage candles more environmentally friendly. The new method will reduce energy consumption and carbon dioxide emissions. Additionally, the quality of the candles will be enhanced – their scent will become more intense and refined, thanks to the preliminary separation of wax fractions.

This project targets all lovers of aromatherapy and massage candles who value high-quality natural products and care about the environment. Makandulo candle customers will enjoy not only exceptional scents and aromatherapeutic effects but also the satisfaction of knowing that by choosing these candles, they contribute to reducing carbon footprints and protecting the planet.

The primary goal of the project is to minimize the environmental impact by reducing energy consumption and carbon dioxide emissions in the process of producing herbal extracts. At the same time, the project aims to improve the efficiency of producing these extracts, which are key components of Makandulo candles.

As a result, the project will introduce candles to the market with a reduced carbon footprint, meeting the expectations of environmentally conscious consumers. These products will stand out with their intense, natural fragrances and exceptional quality, while also emphasizing the importance of environmental protection.

The total eligible expenditure of the project amounts to 2 782 160.00 PLN, with 2 044 672.00 PLN provided as funding from the European Funds. This project proves that it is possible to combine innovation, environmental care, and the highest product quality.
